So here goes nothing - My i20 N Line DCT ownership review that will hopefully help confused car buyers like me. TLDR at bottom. A few disclaimers before I start - I am a fairly new driver and have mostly driven the Swift diesel before. My car has been driven over 2500 km in the span of two months of which 1500 is mine (I don’t drive at night

The i20 N Line doesn’t handle like a modern-day Hyundai. It is significantly sharper and more composed than the regular i20. The suspension and steering have had evident improvements over the regular car. Specifically, the suspension on the N Line is around 30% stiffer than the one on the regular car.

i20 Turbo DCT -> N line. Hi BHPians, I have a serious confusion going on in my head. I bought the New i20 Turbo DCT Asta (O) at launch in November last year. Was very impressed with the features on offer but my heart was yearning for a few more, like an auto dimming IRVM, Paddle Shifters paired to the DCT, a sportier steering etc.
The i20 N Line is the next best thing and while there’s no potent under the bonnet, prior experience with the 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine indicates it’s surprisingly nippy. Outputs of 90 kW and 172 Nm are on offer, with power being transferred to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Re: Hyundai i20 N Line | Ownership Review | 2 months & 1246 km. UPDATE: The Dee Emm Hyundai, Gurgaon service center has changed the fuel pump claiming the quality of fuel was the issue. The scan of the car came out ok, all params looked good. However, no one mentioned anything about this manufacturing defect.
On the pre facelift N Line/regular i20, only Apple CarPlay works in full screen mode and Android Auto sticks to using only 7 inches of the screen no matter what we do with the settings. The facelift i20 with the updated BlueLink UI supports full screen mode for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay alike.

2021 Hyundai i20 N Line suspension, ride, handling. Now coming to the suspension. to enhance the handling and reduce body roll. It is better than what you get on the standard i20 with more balance

It is still powered by the same 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine which is available with regular i20 and many other Hyundai cars like Venue and even of regular i20. It generates 120 Ps and 172 Nm of peak torque. In terms of performance, the N Line does 0-100 kmph sprint in 9.9 seconds. This engine is available with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT The steering, suspension, and stability were much better than the regular i20 and even compared to any other Hyundai. The handling was very precise too. If I had to compare it with the Polo 1.0 TSI, I would say that apart from outright acceleration, the i20 N-Line is better in all other driving aspects. The Hyundai i20 N-Line has a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres and a boot space measuring 311 litres. Hyundai haven’t revealed the ground clearance of the i20 N-Line. The Hyundai i20 N-Line rides on 195/55 R16 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency.

The car's behaviour is overall neutral in nature, as one would expect a mass market hatchback to be. All variants of the i20 come with disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear, with ABS + EBD. The brakes perform as expected. The car stops in a straight line sans drama when braking from high speeds.

Driving. The good news: the Hyundai i20 N is a blast to drive on the race track. The gear ratios and engine power delivery perfectly suit Wakefield Park Raceway. The exhaust, though still muted
